Dr. Bukholts graduated from the prestigious Honors Combined
Accelerated BA/DDS Degree program at New York University
College of Arts and Sciences and New York University
College of Dentistry, one of only 5 students accepted
annually. She completed her general practice residency
program at Staten Island University Hospital Center, working
with world-renowned specialists in Oral Surgery. Following
her residency, she practiced as a general dentist in Manhattan.
Then, completed her orthodontics training, graduating from
the orthodontic program at New York University College of Dentistry,
and is board certified in orthodontics.
Dr. Bukholts is a dedicated Roth-Williams orthodontist. She has taken advanced training in the treatment of both the physiological functioning (tooth, muscle and joint interaction) and dental cosmetic needs of her patients to ensure healthy, attractive results for the long term. Her holistic view encompasses not only the medical aspects of treatment but also the psychological benefits of an improved appearance.
Dr. Bukholts is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and a member of the American Association of Orthodontists. She is also an Associate/Adjunct Professor of post graduate Orthodontics at NYU School of Dentistry.
